The Power of Content Editor WebPart series
A series of at-least 10 articles with detailed how-to code and loads of examples on how to use Content Editor WebPart to insert JavaScript into SharePoint pages and massively extend DOM.
Looking forward to the rest of the series – particularly the alphabet filter web part!!
I notice you mention in “Inserting CEWP and Managing Code” about using the Content Link to manage code centrally – one caveat you may want to mention. If the code library is not on the same site, the library must have anonymous access turned on – something I could not get our corp SP team to do!
Looking forward to more articles!
G: Usually this is managed by being in the same domain. Or if you set your site to be in the LAN zone this may work. The downside of this method is that it works only on client, so you’d have to set this up for every client. Perhaps best practice is to keep a script repository per site collection.
Just want to know your SPCD support more than 3 lists or not?
I have managed to get this working for 2 drop down lists.
But don’t know how to apply for 3rd dropdown list..
Looking forward for your solution
